Our end of term art shows are temporarily on hold while the school is under construction. I hope we will be able to start the shows up again in 2021

You are welcome to come and see what we are working on at the end of each lesson however the art is kept until the end of term when it is put on display in the school hall in an end of term art show.  This show is really important to the children as they have the opportunity to see their work on display and show it off to family and friends. Art may be collected at the end of the show or returned to your child at the beginning of the next term.

Art shows are generally scheduled for the last week of each term – or second last week in Term 4.

who teaches these classes?

My name is Jennifer Burns and Seraphic Creations is my business.  I hold a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Sydney and have been creating art for the past 35 years.  My company was started in 2013 and has grown from teaching 20 children a term, to around 85 this year. I come from a long line of teachers and believe that if you encourage a child to create and let them discover the materials and subject matter on their own, they will never cease to amaze you. I am inspired by the kids I work with every day and they teach me new things on a regular basis.

I possess full personal and liability insurance and a working with children certificate.Having grown up in this area I have an affinity with the schools and local community, I have painted several murals around the school, at North Rocks Shopping Centre and on the local Scout and Guide halls. I’m a single Mum of a wonderful 15 year old son who hates art with a passion.
